What Do Others Say
Erna BuffyNovember 20, 2025 Finally I get to bring my nephew and niece to a short getaway for their birthday. Love the cosy bus room. Location is convenient for us because we are staying at the east. Hawker and coffeeshop is just behind so easy to just walk out and grab you favorite local food. Staff are all very friendly. Definitely will come back. June LeeNovember 10, 2025 Definitely the place to stay if you’re looking for a great time away from the city, yet near great food and basic amenities! The beach is a stone throw away, and just a boat ride to Pulau Ubin. One of a kind hotel experience with alfresco dining, bbq facilities, and outdoor fun! Daily housekeeping and up keeping of the premises is really good and the amazing hospitality makes our stay beyond enjoyable! Thank you team! Steve CapenessNovember 3, 2025 Unique experience sleeping in a converted Singaporean bus. Very good facilities, shoer and bathroom high quality, bed vert comfortable and good A/C to keep you cool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close the airport if needed and ridehailing very quick to go anywhere Daniel OonOctober 28, 2025 Hotel is located near Changi Village Hawker for food and near the beach/coast for walks, plane spotting. Accoms was abit dirty with some ants/cockroaches entering the room but understandable due to location. Willie McPheeOctober 24, 2025 Firstly, apologies to the team—this review is about six weeks late! We are a family of four with two young children. We had a 24-hour layover and wanted to do something different for the kids, so staying in a bus seemed like a fun way to start our family holiday. We arrived late, and they made arrangements to check us in after hours and provided bottles of water on check-in. The bus/room was clean and well -appointed with all the amenities you need. The location is great for plane-spotting, being right next to Changi Airport (yet the bus was well soundproofed). While staying on a bus is a fun experience, the standout from our time was the staff! Going above and beyond to make the trip as comfortable as possible. They extended our check-out so our kids could sleep before the next flight, and the General Manager even dropped us to Terminal 1 during lunchtime as Grab and taxis weren't accepting our fare. If you are looking to do something different to the usual Orchard Road hotel, have kids, or love plane-spotting, give The Bus Collective a go. Kieng KOctober 16, 2025 Staycation Review: A Unique Mix of Mishaps and Stellar Service We recently enjoyed a short staycation here, and while it was overall a unique and memorable experience, there were a few bumps along the way. The cleaners were thorough and enthusiastic about keeping things spotless, but their overzealousness led to an unexpected intrusion. We hung the “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door before stepping out briefly on a windy day. When we returned, to our horror, the room had been serviced—the sign had apparently blown off the handle and landed on the patio, which the staff overlooked. We promptly reported it to the front desk, and that’s where things turned around brilliantly. Abigail, the staff member who handled the situation, was outstanding. She addressed the entire fiasco with incredible tact, professionalism, and aplomb, making us feel heard and valued right away. Kudos to Abigail for turning a potential negative into a positive! One small tip for future guests: Keep food stored away to avoid tiny ant invasions in the room—they’re sneaky little visitors. Despite the hiccup, this stay left us with fond memories of the property’s charm and the team’s responsiveness. We’d consider returning for the uniqueness alone! Mike TeeOctober 8, 2025 For a stay that’s a little out of the ordinary. The bus interior is very nicely designed, providing for a comfortable stay. The queen bed is spacious with separate spaces for toilet, shower and even a bathtub. The space is clean, quiet and we had an unexpectedly enjoyable stay. Access to drinking water and coffee is available at the reception area 24/7. The location is also very close to the beach and eating places, with direct walking routes to the hawker center or fancier options nearby.Google rating score: 4.4 of 5, based on 196 reviews
