What Do Others Say
Kieng KOctober 16, 2025 Staycation Review: A Unique Mix of Mishaps and Stellar Service We recently enjoyed a short staycation here, and while it was overall a unique and memorable experience, there were a few bumps along the way. The cleaners were thorough and enthusiastic about keeping things spotless, but their overzealousness led to an unexpected intrusion. We hung the “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door before stepping out briefly on a windy day. When we returned, to our horror, the room had been serviced—the sign had apparently blown off the handle and landed on the patio, which the staff overlooked. We promptly reported it to the front desk, and that’s where things turned around brilliantly. Abigail, the staff member who handled the situation, was outstanding. She addressed the entire fiasco with incredible tact, professionalism, and aplomb, making us feel heard and valued right away. Kudos to Abigail for turning a potential negative into a positive! One small tip for future guests: Keep food stored away to avoid tiny ant invasions in the room—they’re sneaky little visitors. Despite the hiccup, this stay left us with fond memories of the property’s charm and the team’s responsiveness. We’d consider returning for the uniqueness alone! Mike TeeOctober 8, 2025 For a stay that’s a little out of the ordinary. The bus interior is very nicely designed, providing for a comfortable stay. The queen bed is spacious with separate spaces for toilet, shower and even a bathtub. The space is clean, quiet and we had an unexpectedly enjoyable stay. Access to drinking water and coffee is available at the reception area 24/7. The location is also very close to the beach and eating places, with direct walking routes to the hawker center or fancier options nearby. Carol ElizabethSeptember 23, 2025 This place has its unique charms I'm sure, though to be honest a little bit underwhelmed by the "luxurious seaside experiences" touted by their website. It is pretty comfortable and toilet/shower rooms are pretty clean. Other than that, it's not really "luxurious" unfortunately. For a hotel that is new (opened early 2025), I was dismayed to find that the interiors weren't very well-maintained. The wallpaper were peeling and the sofa beds are very uncomfortable to sit on, much less sleep on. I saw on Youtube reviews that bar snacks and drinks were offered free, but when we were there, there were no snacks and the fridge was empty - with that said though, the premise is very near Changi Village, and there's free flow coffee and tea at the reception, so this isn't a deal breaker. There's also a vending machine where you can buy snacks and bottled drinks. Bed itself was comfy but it was definitely not king-sized. We booked the King George rooms which promised king-sized beds, but it felt exactly like our queen-sized bed which we have at home. Pillows were also on the smaller side, so take note (not sure if they provide more pillows). Bath towels were provided, but apparently no hand towels. They did have a smaller towel in the bath tub, but wasn't sure if it was meant as a hand towel or a bath mat. Note that there's overnight parking fee of S$20, so we avoided this by parking at nearby HDB (stayed on Sunday, so Sunday parking is free). The kiddos (2-3 year olds) had a blast pretending to be bus drivers though, and were reluctant to leave. Good points: - unique experience, especially for kids - very near Changi Village so it's great for affordable food - free flow coffee and tea at the reception - bathtub; which is always greatfor kids (so parents should definitely bring bath toys) - adequate sound proofing, since it's near the airport and planes are landing/taking off through the day/night. I brought along ear plugs just in case, but didn't end up using them. - nice for bird watching Not great: - no safety markings on steps within the bus and exterior (i.e. the patio). Quite a few of us took a few tumbles which isn't great for young kids. - poorly maintained interior - some wifi issues (my bus was ok, but my friend's bus wifi wasn't working) - during dinner we heard some rat squeaking noises (thankfully didn't see them).. some pest control may be required. Could be better: - we saw quite a few families with young kids, and can't help but think that they should consider building playgrounds within their premise. Otherwise it's just rocky pits (areas with small rocks), where the kiddos didn't mind playing at, but since the hotel is also pet friendly, I couldn't help but wonder if animals also pee-ed or pooped inside these areas (my kid did end up picking up dried poo). - the only novel thing in the bus was the bus driver seat, and i think it would have been much more fun if they included other little things like the bus stop button, or ezlink card scan machine to make the bus experience much more complete. - something to consider: could potentially partner with local souvenir shops like Knackstop to produce/sell "bus collective" or other transport themed toys. Xiaofan HuSeptember 14, 2025 Nice place for family with kids. Convenient location Near hawker Center and beach. Friendly staff. If able to improve on guest policy (example: register every single one before enter the premises) would be much better. There were two strangers sitting outside of our bus before we enter the room and they are not hotel guests nor visitors. Felt a bit unsafe. HarSeptember 13, 2025 Quite nice for kids who like buses and planes Melvin LeeSeptember 10, 2025 Our stay at this unique hotel was a truly memorable experience. The most distinctive feature is its creative bus-themed concept, which truly makes you feel like a bus captain. The kids especially loved the bathtub, which was a big highlight for them. The hotel's location is fantastic (with regard to its surrounding), offering great accessibility with three separate side gates. This made it incredibly easy to get to the nearby beach, the brewery, and the hawker center, all within a short walk. Inside the room, we were pleased to find it very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and firm, the air conditioning was strong, and there was a surprising amount of drawer storage, which was very convenient. However, there were a few issues that impacted our comfort. The Wi-Fi signal was weak, consistently showing only one out of four bars and often disconnecting. The sofabed also had a few stains and was quite uncomfortable, as you could feel the metal frame poking through. We also noticed a lack of wall hooks for hanging towels or clothes, which would have been a useful addition. Additionally, it was a bit of a pity that there was no playground for kids within the compound. While we enjoyed the unique theme, a minor disappointment was that the lights on the bus console were not functioning, offering only tactile feedback when the buttons were pressed. On a positive note, the non-buffet style breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of both Western and Asian food to choose from. Despite the few drawbacks, we truly enjoyed our stay. Goh Wee KiatSeptember 9, 2025 One of a kind in Singapore and our kid loves sitting at the driver seat playing the steering wheel! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful! There is no activity within the compound and will need to make seperate arrangement for other activities. ellyka ellySeptember 8, 2025 Book total of 5 busses for my daughter birthday. 3 different type of busses that I can experience 1- reservation I made reservation thru walk in as I need to view the different type of busses (rooms) It's was a smooth easy explanation Communication was a smooth one from the queries to the booking.
